Thank You MellowMushroom

After two weeks of illness it was time to re-enter the world outside my couch. We started slow having April, Herschel, EB over for Mario Golf and a movie. Saturday was rainy so we retreated back to our couch for most of the day. There was a trip to Lowe's for some day dreaming. But just as we were getting anxious we got a mario golf challenge text message from April (she may becoming addicted). I went from 1st place to last. Since it was getting late the debate over what to eat started. The choices were to get something delivered or go out. At last it was declared we would go out into the rain. After some groaning we made it to mellow mushroom. Good company, pretzels, pizzza, curly fries, and a couple of beers later we were happy. Just for the record Mickey's malt liquor is not so fine.

Ok I am tired of being sick. Charlie is sick too so it's pretty sad here at team Leggetts. Hope Chris and April feel better soon and Herschel hope you miss out on this fun.

Dance Party with DJ DO IT........Happy Love Day

Congratulations to Effie's Club Follies for raising money and having great party. The costumes, the dancing and the karaoke was eye watering funny. Even Charlie who is sick cracked a smile. But please no more Jim Morrison wannabes. Important Team Leggett Trivia: we do not under any circumstances sing karaoke, not enough liquor at the bar.






The Nancy Boy poker tournament started Friday night. I was very excited about playing for money and the new trophy but the cards were against me. So I befriended evan williams and spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom. I guess I got carried away on my first night off the wagon. My new years resolution is for that ugly baby on a bucket to be mine. Thanks to Team Chambers for letting us crash at there house. Congrats to April for winning.

Saturday went to little five to see Of Montreal. Great show wish I was not so hung over. Learned a lesson: I am spoiled in Athens and I live in an 18 and older bubble. Forgot how much I like darts. Working on setting up a dart board in the basement. Be ready for V vs P tournamnets.

A little story about a knee

Here is an x-ray of my knee.
Please notice the two metal screws from a previous surgery. What is interesting about these screws is I didn't know about them for the last ten years. Hopefully, I will get the x-ray that shows off my knee cap and then i will share it with you fine people.



Problems:
1. My knee cap didn't form completely when I was born so it is in two pieces.
2. arthritis and bone spurs around deformed knee cap.
3. hole in soft cartlidge around the bone probably caused from injury induced osteo-arthritis

The Plus side:
1. part of the problem is not my fault...mom and hubs can't blame me any more
2. I can play soccer and run in 9 weeks
3. treatment requires 4 shots with long needle but no surgery yet
4. if I start taking old people vitamins I can slow the arthritis down

Having a Hasselhoff Day

My week started off pretty bad but has steadly gotten better. If things go well by the end of the week I may be feeling as good as Mr. David Hasselhoff. Now I know all you boys in manland are wondering "were can I get that suit?". The vertical lines are amazing. But I promised David that I would keep it a secret. But I would like to share more spectacular fashion moments from the Hasselhoff.
