Suprised

You Are STOP

When you're confronted with a problem, you drop everything else you're doing at the time.

You need to take a moment and collect yourself before you proceed.

Once you've taken a quick break, you're ready to tackle almost anything that's come your way.

But if you're not given time to figure things out, then the likely result is chaos.

Snow Day 2009!

Yeah fun in the sun and snow. We went to the lake for a short weekend and it ended up a long weekend. It rained for three days which is great because the lake is low. We were teasing Laurie about it snowing and sure enough Sunday around lunch time it began to snow. None of us thought it would snow so much. We heard from friends that Athens was getting hit hard and our neighborhood was without power. Later on that night we lost power at the lake. It was fun and kinda like camping. We stayed up with flashlights telling stories and listening to the creaking branches. Sophie, Charlie and I piled into bed with lots of covers and Foster. Sophie thought is was great fun. The next morning we decided to venture out and get coffee from Huddle House. Everything was covered in several inches of snow but so many down power lines, tree limbs and Georgia drivers made it a little scary. When Charlie and I finally made it back to Athens we had at least 6 inches of snow. Luckily nothing hit our house, lake house or any of our friends houses. But Athens was hit hard. Lots of damage and power outages. We got a day off from work and the weather warmed up. Playing in the snow while it is 50 outside is lots of fun.

Contempo Gnome got buried.

My mini Herburt.

Foster loves him some snow.

Lots of snow in Athens.
